Catalog Description: Identical particles, exclusion principle and exchange effects; interaction of electromagnetic radiation with matter; introduction to scattering theory, partial wave analysis, and Born approximation; simple manybody theory in the HartreeFock framework. PRQ: PHYS 660 or consent of department.
